The “Traditional Strata”, with the participation of locals and visitors of the Municipality of Chania, takes place throughout the season, every Tuesday evening at the Venetian Port of Chania.
Groups from traditional folklore dance associations of Crete, accompanied by traditional musical instruments and artists, will tour the port area of the Venetian port, reviving the “Traditional Strata” with music and songs, which will end at the Mitropolis square at 21:00.
There the special program prepared by the participating dance clubs will take place and the audience will be able to dance and sing in great company!
The purpose is to highlight the special cultural identity of Chania – traditional clothing and the unique musical, dancing and vocal abilities of the members of the clubs, creating experiences and lifelong memories for the residents of our city and visitors.
